Bruce Carlisle
North Georgia Land, Inc. (NGL) was founded by Bruce Carlisle in 1993. Bruce is a native Atlantan who began his commercial real estate career in 1984 and worked at Property Systems Corporation, The Trammell Crow Company, and The Scott Hudgens Company, before starting his own firm. He specializes in all aspects of land transactions and provides the following services to both buyers and sellers of undeveloped property:
- site selection
- due diligence
- annexations
- rezonings
- land development
- highest and best use evaluation
The NGL team currently serves clients throughout Atlanta and the suburbs with a reputation as one of the city’s premier land brokerage firms. Since its founding, the company has closed in excess of $200,000,000 in commercial land transactions.
At North Georgia Land, we understand that information is power. The creative gathering and use of information to guide our clients is a cornerstone of our business. Although technology has dramatically changed the landscape of the brokerage business, it is impossible to replicate the value of more than 36 years experience and our deep local and regional relationships. This combination of information gathering, efficient technology use and local relationships assures our clients that the team at NGL will get the job done.
In addition, Bruce Carlisle holds the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member), the equivalent of a master’s degree in commercial real estate. CCIMs complete graduate level curriculum, have a proven track record of high performance and are recognized nationally as experts in the field.
Bruce grew up in Atlanta playing competitive tennis. He went on to play at Florida State University where he graduated in 1984. That same year he married Marybel, his wife of over 36 years. They have two grown children who live in Atlanta. Bruce and Marybel reside in Forsyth County, are active in their local church and present marriage enrichment retreats several times throughout the year.
